The cost of using a licensed plumber is mitigated slightly more than using an unlicensed handyperson or unlicensed worker to do the project. The cost to benefit is minor compared to the problems that can occur using a less-than-qualified worker to do the job.

- Standard plumbing connections: $300
- Laundry connections: $500
- Installation of a standard tub/shower combo: $200
- Connecting a dishwasher: $100
- Water line for a refrigerator: $50
- Installation of disposal: $75
