Our Basement Finishing Process: Clear, Simple, & Built Around You

Step 1: Initial Meeting and Bid

In our first meeting, we’ll review your basement. Determine what features flow naturally from the size and layout. Work with you to determine what you want. Offer suggestions for money-saving alternatives. After our meeting, we’ll return a detailed and accurate bid within two days.

Step 2: We Draw the Plans & Get the Permit

Once you’re ready to get started, we’ll draw up the basement and work through the details with you. We also submit the plans to Orem City, take care of the permit, and schedule the inspections. You won’t have to figure that part out on your own.

Step 3: We Get to Work

Once we have the permit, construction can begin. Most of our basements take about 10–12 weeks to finish. A kitchen, wet bar, or other custom work can add a little time, but we’ll talk about that with you ahead of time and keep you updated as the job moves along.

Step 4: We Walk Through It With You

When the basement is finished and has passed its final inspection, we’ll walk through everything together. If you spot something that needs to be touched up, let us know. We’ll take care of it before we consider the job finished.

Step 5: We’re Still Here After the Job

If something comes up after we leave, you can still call us. Our work is backed by a 2-year craftsmanship warranty, so if there’s a problem with something we did, we’ll come back and make it right.
