Do I need a permit in Provo?

Can you create a rentable basement apartment?

The answer is almost always yes. Provo has a few non-negotiable requirements. They require at least one street parking space. They also require that the exterior entrance be positioned so firefighters can safely access the back and side of the house. We can help you review these requirements and make sure your home meets the standards.
